Aggravated battery or felony battery, under Florida Statutes Section 784.045 and 784.041, requires that the prosecutor provide proof and evidence that the defendant knowingly caused bodily harm to the alleged victim, or used a deadly weapon in a manner that caused bodily harm or death.
